Every other app leans on tricks and ruses to attract you. This page is the reverse: we tell you what Klatos will not do to you.
The freeze that pretends you never missed. The status you can buy. The reminder devised to spook you by counting what you stand to lose. Each is a way to keep you opening an app. What they don't tell you is that these tricks quietly destroy the integrity of your practice. Your record stops meaning anything.
None of these exist in Klatos.
We deliberately refused anything that could taint the progress you make. These refusals are not a mood we might revise; they are built into the product. They are the reason the number you see here is one you can finally trust. You can check the mechanics that keep them yourself, on how the record is kept.
No streak freeze.
The refusalA day you missed is recorded as missed, and nothing you do later changes that.
What it protectsYour streak always reflects your real practice.
No streak repair.
The refusalThere is no make-up token, no restore button and no fee that buys a day back, on any plan.
What it protectsA streak that can only be earned.
No back-fill.
The refusalCheck-ins, mood and weight can only be recorded on the day itself. They lock at local midnight on every plan. There is no import and no override.
What it protectsYour data stays faithful to what you recorded on the day.
Planned rest is not a freeze.
The refusalRest is declared before its week begins, capped at three a calendar month, and at most two in any single week. A rest day becomes an off-schedule day. It can never be declared after the fact.
What it protectsRest is the breathing room that sustains your practice.
No leaderboards.
The refusalNo rankings, no comparison with other users. The one person who can see your record is a partner you invited, on the one habit you share.
What it protectsYour only rival is your former self.
No points, no XP, no levels, no coins.
The refusalNothing in Klatos is a currency. A badge marks a crossing; it cannot be spent or bought.
What it protectsYour practice is the reward.
No challenges.
The refusalKlatos runs no thirty-day programs and puts no finish line on a habit. The quest to better yourself does not have an end date; it is a lifelong process.
What it protectsYour practice is a direction, not a countdown.
No paid exceptions.
The refusalRooted is the paid tier. It widens what you can see and how much you can track. It never softens a rule or changes what the record says. The rest budget, the locks, a missed day: they all behave the same way on every plan.
What it protectsThe record obeys the same rules on every plan.
No lock-in.
The refusalYou can export all your data as JSON or CSV on any plan, with no history limit. Deleting the account is a real delete: fourteen days to change your mind, then every row is erased.
What it protectsThe record is yours.
No ads. No analytics script.
The refusalNeither the app nor this site loads a tracker. The only request that leaves the page goes to Google Fonts.
What it protectsYour attention is yours.
No pressure, no guilt.
The refusalA reminder counts the days you have done and lists what is still open today. It shows you where you stand and what you can do next, and it never names a streak, a deadline or a loss.
What it protectsYour practice is yours to pace.
No dark patterns.
The refusalEvery control says plainly what it does. Staying on the free plan, declining an upgrade, or closing your account are each offered in the open. Nothing is hidden, disguised, or worded to shame you. And the free plan stays free.
What it protectsEvery choice in Klatos is yours, never engineered.
If you want a way to redeem a lost streak, Klatos does not have one.
If you want a thirty-day challenge with a finish line, Klatos does not have one.
If you want a leaderboard, Klatos does not have one.
